Milagres Central School, Mangalore, celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with
great enthusiasm and patriotism with collaboration of Milagres PU and Degree Colleges.

The ceremony began with the arrival of the chief guest Mr Joachim Stany Alvares,
who was received by the schools NCC Contingent and the Milagres Central School band. The guard of honour was presented with precision and discipline, showcasing the students respect and dedication to the nation.

Mrs Anitha Dsouza lecturer of Milagres College warmly welcomed the gathering to
the Independence Day celebration. Master Kevin Vallooran Chacko student of Milagres Central School delivered a sentimental speech highlighting the significance of Independence day, emphasizing the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the importance of upholding the values of democracy and unity.

Rev.Fr. Dr. Michael Santhumayor principal of Milagres degree college presided
over the program and delivered a thought-provoking address inspiring the students
and staff to work towards a brighter future for India.

Mrs. Reshma KM staff of Milagres Central School extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to the dignitaries, guests, students and staff making a event a success.

Mrs Tressy Pinto lecturer of Milagres Degree College skilfully managed the
proceedings as the master of ceremonies ensuring a smooth and engaging program.

The event concluded with dance performance by the students of Milagres Central
School showcased the rich culture heritage of India leaving the audience spellbound also distribution of sweets ending to the celebratory event.

Overall, the Independence Day celebration at Milagres Central School was grand
success, instilling a sense of national pride and cultural values among the students and staff.
