The Milagres Central School held its investiture ceremony on
4th July 2024 at Milagres
Degree College auditorium. The event marked a significant milestone in the
academic year, as student leaders were formally entrusted with their roles and
responsibilities.
The ceremony began with a prayer service followed by welcome
address by Master Aarav Jha of Grade Xth.
The newly appointed head boy Master Moideen Saaim Abdur Rahman
and head girl Miss Jerusha Grace Sajan along with the other cabinet leaders
received their badges and sashes by School Manager Rev Fr Bonaventure Nazareth
and School Principal Rev Fr Uday Fernandes to mark their formal investiture.
The student council
members were led in a oath-taking ceremony, promising to uphold the values and
traditions of the institution.
The various clubs of the school are inaugurate by the school
manager Rev Fr Bonaventure Nazareth
which gives the students various opportunities to explore their
interests, develop new skills, and build
confidence. The newly inaugurated club secretaries received the badges from the
school Principal. House captains received the badges and flags from the school
Manger.
The chief guest of the program our school manager Rev Fr
Bonaventure Nazareth congratulated the members of Student Council and advised
them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. He also motivated the students in his speech.
School coir greeted the audience with melodies song.
Mohammad Arbaaz Khan of grade Xth delivered the
vote of thanks. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
Hayden John Kalan and
Dave Ian Vaz of grade Xth hosted the programme.
The investiture ceremony was a grand success, with students,
teachers, and parents in attendance. The newly appointed student leaders vowed
to work tirelessly for the betterment of the institution and their fellow
students.
